    Using a couple of these on a M&P40. Getting 19 reloadable, but takes a solid smack, 18 is as easy as factory. Loading the mag is a little stiff toward the end, but not too much effort. Beautiful piece, no machining marks and very even anodizing. Locks on solid. Might require a little follower tuning, I had one new design 40 marked follower than would not allow more than 16rnds, swapped it for an old style and no problem. Have another with the new style follower and no issues.

    Make Ready Pro Shop had quick shipping and the product was packed neatly. The base pads come in a long plastic bag with the spring. The base pad is made from very durable material that will last through competitions and multiple drops in the dirt and grass. I initially bought three to try them out and came back and ordered 2 more. Can't say enough good things!

    I've been watching the Taran base pads for awhile and decided to pull the trigger so to speak and get some for my regular carry M&P (for spare mags - not in gun). I like the extra 5 rds and the pads are well made. My spare mag actually conceals better because the Taran pad is flatter and doesn't have the long front like the factory pad that tended to print. So I get +5 rds and it hides better.

    No instructions came with them which caused me some trial and error but ultimately installed their spring and base and did not use the factory base, internal spring bottom (locks into the factory base), or the factory spring.

    I also tightened the set screw after installation which makes them base pads harder to remove (the set screw must be loosened first) but for practical use I thought that this was prudent.

    I have 5 and like them so much I plan to get more.
