M&P 9/40 extended base pads are CNC machined from aluminum and hard anodized. This lengthens the magazine .25" to make for easier, more reliable magazine changes. They are perfect for IDPA ESP and USPSA. These are for use with the original base pad catch that is round and we will include a machined aluminum retaining plate to use if you currently have the square catch retaining plate.
